What began as a simple need to acquire reference material for my painting, quickly became a more consuming passion than my artwork. As my love of photography grew, I kept updating my equipment until I finally went digital. My photos have received the Award of Excellence, 2nd Place Category Winner and Master of the Macro awards from the National Photo Awards. My photo, "Face to Face" was the Photo Of The Month in the December 2006 issue of "Digital Camera" magazine. In December 2010 I completed "Digital Photography - The Complete Course" with the New York Institute of Photography and received the Award of Merit for my photography work in Units 5 and 6 of the course. I am hardly ever without a camera, and love being able to capture the beauty of what I see around me. I hope you enjoy viewing my photos as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
